Company
Since our foundation, we have been working to light up our passion. Our passion for this work leads us every day to find the best and most effective lighting solutions for our customers.
Light up
We combine care and attention to detail with what we have inherited from our past: the culture of ‘doing’, the strength to make courageous decisions and the enthusiasm that characterises the development of a new product.
Light, by its absence or by the intensity of its presence, tells a great deal about an ambience. Continuing to produce luminaires of the highest design, using innovative materials and avant-garde aesthetics to give new shape and movement to light is the company philosophy that has guided us through all these years.

The conception, engineering, realisation and testing of our lights are carried out in-house, combining craftsmanship, innovation and creativity. In the exhibition area open by appointment, architects and professionals can see our lighting solutions installed and in operation.
The conception or improvement of a lighting product requires the highest design accuracy. This is why our company has equipped itself with a last-generation 3D printer to carry out rapid prototyping in-house.
Prototype
Photogoniometer
photoglobe

To obtain faithful three-dimensional mappings of how the light is distributed in the space around the light source, thus verifying its emission and compliance with strict project standards, Biffi Luce is equipped with a T4 photogoniometer, Photoglobe II.
Compact and fully automated, the Photoglobe II allows for fast and accurate measurements thanks to its high-precision probes integrated with a telescopic optical system that renders the light point-like. The photogoniometer is a powerful support in both the design and prototyping phases and in the sales phase. By reading the measured data, it is possible to make improvements to the performance and/or aesthetics of the products and to assess that certain parameters requested by the customer’s project are respected.
FSC label
The FSC® label identifies products containing wood from well-managed and responsible forests according to strict environmental, social and economic standards. It therefore guarantees that the FSC-labelled product comes from a responsibly managed forest and supply chain. FSC’s forest management standards include protecting water quality, prohibiting the cutting down of old-growth forests, preventing the loss of natural forest cover and prohibiting the use of highly toxic chemicals. We therefore wanted, also through the production of our company catalogue, to focus on environmental impact while respecting both the environment and natural resources.
